Description

A beautifully handcrafted stained glass poppy to hang in your window.

The poppies are handmade to the highest quality, using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method – each piece of glass is hand cut, wrapped in copperfoil, soldered and then polished to a high shine. They are made using genuine stained glass, so the colours will never fade.

There are two designs of poppy available – with a leaf and without a leaf.  The poppies come beautifully gift wrapped in a red gift box, with a window hanger. Because each one is handmade, they are made in limited quantities.

Approximate dimensions – each poppy comes in a gift box 9cm x 9cm

NOTE: The window hangers are very strong but please ensure they are firmly stuck to the window before hanging the glass. Every now and again you need to press the middle of the window hanger to release any air from it. By following this guidance the glass should stay firmly fixed to the window!

    My poppy was collected from Glassworks HQ. A beautiful piece of art, packaged and presented well. A £5 donation to the Royal British Legion too!
    This was not my first purchase from Glassworks and I don’t think it will be my last…….

    I purchased 4 of these one is in its new home in Spain with my best friend she lives there year round & was intrigued by my telling her about the tower poppies & that I had brought something so beautiful & symbolic for her. Two more will be given as birthday presents to my mum & mum in law before November. The last one is mine! & will take its place in my lounge window.
    I have since brought several more of glassworks amazing pieces including a special commission for a special young ladies 18th birthday gift.
    I shall no doubt be buying many more from her in future years!

    I bought a poppy for my gent aged 90 on the 4 th August sadly he passed away on the 25th I now have this proudly in my window and will remind me off him everyday xx

    Thank you very much my Poppies have just arrived and they are very beautiful. The light shines brightly through the red and green glass and is a reminder of your additional support for the British Legion and the sacrifice which has been made for us today and in years gone by so that we can live in peace.
    The parcel wrapping is so attractive and I can tell it has been done with care, they make lovely gifts, and the bubble wrap kept them beautifully safe in transit!!
